POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Registration: A non-refundable fee of $40 per family is required at the time of registration.
Private lessons may be started at any time during the year - tuition will be prorated.
Register using our convenient auto debit from your checking account or credit card. Each debit is $160.00. Students are scheduled for 48 lessons per year. (Some months will have 5 lessons, some months will have 3 lessons, but debits remain the same.) All auto debits can be cancelled with two weeks’ notice. (See withdrawals below)
Attendance Policy: The progress of each music student depends on regular and consistent attendance. There are no refunds, credits, or makeups for lessons missed by students.
Attendance Policy for Group classes: No refunds for group classes will be given after the first week of class. There is no discount for late enrollment. Bloomingdale School of Music will cancel or combine classes with low enrollment. Students enrolling after the semester begins will be admitted up until the third week of class. There is no reduction in tuition for missed classes.
Withdrawals must be done in person through the desk staff. To withdraw from lessons a parent or adult student must complete and sign a withdrawal form provided by the school office. A minimum of two weeks' notice is required to stop lessons.
Photo Release: I give permission for Bloomingdale School of Music to use my/my child's photos/images on the studio web site and advertising. I understand that the photos may be clear enough to identify my child and that my child will be identified only by his/her first name in a group picture.
Employees of the Bloomingdale School of Music are not authorized to and cannot waive, alter, or amend any policies and procedures of The Bloomingdale School of Music.
